There are a few changes to the events, including the Past and Future Champions dinners, both of which will now be held in the same location – Barton Creek Wildflower Atrium. Please check the home page and the schedule of events for more information.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and playing some golf next week!]]>
A huge thanks to all the players who participated this year, Falconhead and Barton Creek for hosting the gameplay, the McKemie’s for opening up Camp McKemie, Calvin for serving delicious food, the team responsible for making sure this tournament went off without a hitch, and everyone else who contributed to a successful Road Masters!]]>
Assignments have been sent out with Day 1 pairings, so if you don’t know when and where you are playing please email Beth Roe at Beth.Roe@ergon.com asap. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing everyone at the Past and Future Champions dinners where you can expect tasty food, encouraging drinks, and probably a little bit of smack talk.]]>
The tournament may not start until tomorrow, but some players are already out on the green, getting their game faces on! Ed Carlson and his wife, Candace, were spotted playing some practice rounds recently (and seemed to be having a great time doing so!). Ed will be playing with Scott Metcalf in the RoadMasters tournament the next two days.]]>
In addition to the traditional video, though, we are launching a new way to preserve our memories of the tournament (and giving everyone more ways to get involved and enjoy yourselves!). This year, we will be encouraging every individual team to take pictures of practice and play. Prizes will be awarded to the teams with the best photos.
Ideally, as we are working on revamping our social media, including Facebook and Twitter, we’d like to use Facebook as our medium for submitting these pictures; however, don’t worry, as we understand not everyone uses social media, we will be providing other avenues for getting your pictures in the running! In order to use the Facebook group (and get as much fun and info out of it as possible, please make sure to click on the link and request to join the group!)
If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Beth or Myles!]]>
